What is mcladder?
mcladder is a competitive ranked ladder for Minecraft survival. Queue up solo or with a friend, race through a set of randomized survival challenges, and climb a global ELO ranking. Every match counts — wins push you up, losses pull you down, and your peak is recorded forever.
How a match works
Queue
Run /start to join the solo queue, or /invite a friend to play duo. Matchmaking pairs you against opponents close to your ELO.
Race
Each game rolls three random objectives — gather resources, craft gear, hunt mobs across the Overworld and Nether. Same challenges for both sides.
Win
The first player or team to complete all three challenges takes the match. No timers running out — it's a pure race.
Ranks & ELO
You start unranked. Win your placement and you'll land somewhere on the ELO scale, which maps to one of six ranks. Each rank is split into five divisions (I–V, 50 ELO each). Reach the threshold and you rank up instantly — drop below it and you fall back down. Your highest-ever ELO is saved as your peak.

Seasons
The ladder runs in seasons. When a season ends, competitive rankings reset so everyone starts the climb fresh — but your match history, badges and all-time peak ELO stick with your profile. Check the seasons page to see what's live and how past seasons finished.
