What is mcladder?

mcladder is a competitive ranked ladder for Minecraft survival. It ships as a client mod: the main menu becomes a ladder hub, and every match runs in your own singleplayer world generated from a seed you share with your opponent. Queue up Solo or Duo, race a set of randomized challenges, and climb the global ELO ranking. Every match counts — wins push you up, losses pull you down, and your peak is recorded forever.

How a match works

01

Queue

Hit Find match in the mod's hub to queue solo, or share a party code with a friend for Duo. Matchmaking pairs you against opponents close to your ELO.

02

Race

Both sides load an identical world from a shared seed and get the same three random objectives — gather resources, craft gear, hunt mobs across the Overworld and Nether.

03

Win

The first player or team to complete all three challenges takes the match. Reach the time limit and it's a draw; leaving or crashing counts as a loss. Every win is verified server-side and backed by a replay.

Ranks & ELO

With 0 matches you are unranked. Matches 1–4 show Calibration N/5 and hide your ELO, delta and placement everywhere public. The fifth completed match reveals them. Every live-manifest rank has five divisions calculated between its ELO threshold and the next rank; your highest revealed ELO is saved as your peak.

MLC economy

MLC (MLC) is stored as integer hundredths and shown with at most two decimals. There is no daily earnings cap: opponent strength, match duration and repeat-match coefficients handle anti-farm.

01

Matches

A standard win starts at 0.25 MLC before modifiers; a loss or draw starts at 0.05 MLC. Your first win of each UTC day adds 1 MLC.

02

Daily quests

Three quests refresh every day. Normal rewards are about 0.4–1.25 MLC; a rare hard quest can award up to 2.5 MLC.

03

Shop

mcladder+ costs 500 MLC, $4.99 or 400 Stars for 30 days and adds 10% MLC plus profile and queue perks.

Seasons

The ladder runs in seasons. When a season ends, competitive rankings reset so everyone starts the climb fresh — but your match history, badges and all-time peak ELO stick with your profile. Check the seasons page to see what's live and how past seasons finished.
